Apparel is a walking billboard, so wow your audience with sought-after styles. We’ve got five tips to help you select a retail inspired tee that everyone is sure to love.  1.   Fabric matters more then fashion or cost

There’s more to it than just picking the latest trend or lowest cost. We  want your brand to get the most exposure, so let’s join forces and create a t-shirt that the recipient wants to wear. If it’s too trendy, some of your Screen Shot 2014-04-09 at 5.21.01 PMaudience may feel uncomfortable in it, and if it’s too cheap it will land in a donation pile before it reaches a couple washes. Start with the material. Most favorite t-shirts tend to be soft and comfortable, so go with a light weight 100% combed or ringspun cotton for a soft finish. Some of our best selling brands are NextLevel, Canvas, District and Alternative. Unless they are used for winter wear or industrial work, heavy tees are no longer a crowd favorite. If the t-shirts will be used for a marathon or athletic crowd, consider spending extra for a 100% polyester moisture wicking t-shirt. Tear away tags are always a bonus! And don’t forget the color! Choose colors that are complimentary for most audiences while supporting the brand or message.

 2.  Consider what’s on the rack at retail

We do our best to keep our hand on the pulse of what’s on trend. You can easily browse retail racks and follow what’s in style. Crew neck tees remain popular, but v-neck styles are gaining popularity, along with scoop neck styles for women. Textures and prints are also a great way to infuse fashion forward creativity into your brand. Spending a little more, gives your crowd sought after features.

You don’t have to load the t-shirt down with lots of colors or logos on the front, back and on sleeves, that’s too NASCAR. Less is more. Subtle imprints, vintage designs, discrete locations and unique decorating methods can all create hip looks that get worn regularly.  5.  Men and women have swapped t-shirt styles

A decade ago men’s clothes were baggy and about 5 sizes too big, and women’s clothes were super tight. Now, things don’t really look that way. For women, a lot of styles are becoming looser fitting, while for men it’s almost the opposite.

BONUS TIP! Touch and feel

We are more than happy to send loaner samples of t-shirts so  you can touch and feel the differences. It will definitely be helpful in choosing the best t-shirt for your needs.

Don’t forget about product safety!

If your t-shirts will be worn by children, there are extra steps required to insure they are CPSIA compliant, properly labeled and tested. We keep your audience safe!
